Therapist and Clinical Manager

Carolyn Kinney

Carolyn is a doctoral candidate at Minnesota School of Professional Psychology with an emphasis in clinical psychology. For eight years, she has provided services to clients with developmental disabilities (DD) in community mental health and residential settings, and Carolyn has developed a day treatment program which adapts Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for clients with DD and Borderline Personality Disorder.  She has provided training and consultation for therapists on Asperger Syndrome, DBT skills, and coping with challenging client behaviors as well as for those working with clients with serious and persistent mental illness and developmental disabilities.  Carolyn is a former elementary and middle school teacher and administrator.
