Kimberley graduated from Minnesota State University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Alcohol and Drug Studies. She later graduated from Winona State University with a Masters degree in Counselor Education with a focus on Community Counseling. Kimberley had previously completed a nine-month internship with the Safety Center, Inc. and a three-month practicum with Victim Services in Rochester, MN. She continues as a volunteer where as a resource counselor she provides support, information, and referral services. Kimberley previously worked at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester for 16 years. She is a member of several professional organizations such as; NBCC (National Board for Certified Counselors), APA (American Psychological Association), ACA (American Counseling Association), AMHCA (American Mental Health Counselors Association), PSI CHI (National Honor Society in Psychology), CHI SIGMA IOTA (Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International), The Honor Society of PHI KAPPA PHI, and the Golden Key International Honor Society for Academic Excellence.
