Ann Marie graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelors degree in Sociology, and a double minor in Women’s Studies, and Child Development and Family Science. She later graduated from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She had previously completed a nine month internship with the Safety Center, Inc.
In addition, her background includes working with male sex offenders at Project Pathfinder and facilitating the Mentoring Children of Prisoner’s program at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities
